Better Breathers Club

Connect to education, support and each other through in-person and virtual support groups.

Why Join a Better Breathers Club?

The American Lung Association's Better Breathers Club program has connected people living with lung disease to education, support, and each other in communities around the country for over 50 years. The support group provides a welcoming space for persons with chronic lung diseases, family members, friends and support persons to learn about chronic lung diseases, disease management and share their lived experiences.

In Person or Virtual Meetings

Better Breathers Club members learn better ways to cope with lung conditions such as COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer and asthma while getting the support of others in similar situations. Better Breathers Club meetings offer a fun and stimulating combination of guest speakers, problem-solving discussions, and social activities. Led by trained facilitators, these in-person or virtual adult support groups give you the tools you need to stay active and healthy, living the best quality of life you can.

Find a Better Breathers Club

Look through the listing of Clubs in your state to find a group near you. Consider joining a virtual club if there are no clubs near you. Virtual meetings are usually held on Zoom. If you have any questions, call or email the facilitator at the listed contact or you can email BetterBreathersClub@Lung.org

IMPORTANT: Please contact the Club’s facilitator or us to verify that the Club is meeting at the specified time and place.
