Neelima Tummala is an ENT surgeon and assistant professor of surgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWUSMHS).  She completed medical school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She is the co-director of the Climate Health Institute at GWU and is leading efforts to integrate planetary health into the medical school curriculum at GWUSMHS.  She is on the Board of Virginia Clinicians for Climate Action, is on the executive committee of The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, and co-founded Surgeons for a Sustainable Future.
