My concern is that we will become numb to higher levels of air pollution. We seem to have done just that in the last 120 years. In the name of progress, we have adjusted to unhealthy air.

When I go camping or out into the mountains, my breathing feels much better. When Native Americans first settled in North America, there must have been a different, more pure air quality.
