I am a healthy 36-year-old living in Salt Lake City. Despite being free from respiratory illnesses, I am beginning to notice irritation in my airways during extended periods of poor air quality, especially during winter inversions. If it's affecting my healthy lungs, I can only imagine what it's doing to those who are less fortunate.
